Bellaire Jazz
There are a lot of options when choosing a band for an event, but none of them are as unique and fresh as Bellaire Jazz. This exciting new group is made up of some of the most sought after musicians in the Houston area. The core of the group consists of Jon Wegge on bass, Josh Sheiman on Guitar and Jordan Almes on drums. These guys can play, and they do. A lot. Collectively, the members of this band play over 500 gigs a year. That’s a lot of experience at making people happy, so they can have fun in events while also playing some games in the true fortune casino as well. Whether its guests at a wedding reception, a corporate event, or a private party, they’ve got it covered.
Bellaire Jazz is fully capable of making great music of all styles, but they specialize in Avant-Groove. A mixture of Jazz and Funky elements with some R&B thrown in for fun. That’s an unexpected shift in the kinds of music that are normally played at events in Houston. That’s what sets this band apart, all at once the music can be the center of attention or simmering in the background, seamlessly shaping the event into a night that no one will forget. If there’s ever a gig that the trio can’t handle, and that’s rare indeed, don’t worry, they’ve got a lot of friends from keyboardists to horn players that can jump in to expand the band.
